Usually when people go on vacation they see this as time for relaxation and enjoyment. If you have been working hard all year to fit in your bikini then you probably are a bit worry about coming back home with a few extra pounds. Follow these tips and enjoy your vacation without the guilt.
1- Make only ONE trip to the buffet table. The food will be there all week so you don’t have to taste it all on the first day.
2 – Chose wisely and fill your plate with whatever looks good, but only once. Remember rule number one.
3 – 10 to 15 minutes before you walk in to that yummy buffet eat some fruit or drink a good amount of water, if your stomach is full then you won’t fill the need to get double portions.
4 – Alcohol – You are on vacation and you may be taking a good amount of that. For each alcoholic drink that you have also have a glass of water (natural or carbonated) KEEP AWAY from sweet & fruity flavor drinks as they are high in calories.
5 – Don’t go to bed on a full stomach, a little walk on the beach will make your body and should feel better.
6 – Keep yourself hydrated always; sometimes the body doesn’t know the difference between thirst and hunger. Drinking more water you will feel better and will help you avoid those heavy calories from the snack bar.
7 – Most importantly….Have fun. You can always get hamburgers, pizza and hot dogs when you go back home. Be adventurous and try some of the local delicacies.
